products to survive hot weather, dramatic television, reading romance, a summer playlist, and interviews for days
Welcome back to the monthly favorites edit! If you've been here a while, you know I've done many editions of this kind of post. They're always my favorite to create, and it seems you love them just as much. I decided to bring it back for paid subscribers, making it extra packed with recommendations this time. I've stumbled upon so many new obsessions in June, and of course, I'm here to share. We're covering lifestyle, beauty, fashion, books, film/TV, music, and online finds.
From now on, monthly favorites will be my exclusive paid post every month (for more about how the newsletter is changing, see my about me page).
So you can get a better feel for this kind of content, I've discounted my paid subscription by 50% for a year if you redeem it by August 1st (which means it’s 2.5$ a month, or 25$ for a whole year). You can subscribe or upgrade using the button below or by clicking on this link.
LIFESTYLE, BEAUTY, FASHION
The only products I need when it’s hot out are tinted sunscreen (I’ve been using the E.L.F. Suntouchable Whoa Glow, and I like it so far) and a good gloss (I’m still very much into my old Tarte Sea H2O Lip Gloss because it’s hydrating and gorgeous on its own).
I’ve been abusing my Byoma De-Puff + Brighten Eye Gel because nothing makes me feel better in these hot days than lathering on fresh eye gel.
Bury me in my Brandy Melville hoops. They’re not waterproof or long-lasting (I usually buy new ones every two years), obviously, but considering I’m not bringing solid gold hoops somewhere I could lose them, they’re a great alternative.
LeSpecs Outta Love sunglasses will forever be in my rotation. I’ve had them for four years, and I’m not bored with them yet.
For beach days and walks in the scorching sun, I always have my Pink Ralph Lauren cap. It was a gift from my boyfriend, and it makes me look put together even when I’m working out.
The H&M Tie-front Poplin Blouse will save your life when it’s hot out. I got it in black, and it’s so airy and fun to style. You can go braless or wear a cute bralette underneath and let it peek through. So affordable and so good.
